Yoni: Founder of Podcast Notes - Taking notes on the best podcasts

There are lots of great podcasts out there that we don't ever do notes on because they're high production value, great stories. Right. And there's. It doesn't really kind of fit. You don't need to take notes on those. Right. This American Life is obviously a great podcast, but it's kind of hard to see how we're going to take notes on that. And so within the space of interesting conversations to interviews, I think Matt, Matt's put up a few things that I totally agree on over time about what kind of great podcasters do. Really. You can tell when the interview we use, it's got like a list of questions and they're like, and what about this versus when someone's engaged because you know they're asking the right follow up questions. It kind of makes sense because they're actually curious to find out what's going on.

Welcome to the Crazy Wisdom Podcast. Today's guest is Yoni, the founder of Podcast Notes. They take notes on the best podcasts of the week and send their members full list of the notes and the best ideas from all those podcasts. I first found out about them a long time ago and as I started the podcast they once featured one of my podcasts with Kapil Gupta. And so I really started to get really interested in what they're doing and I decided to reach out to them for an interview. First I interviewed Matt Miller, which I published a few months ago. And today I interviewed Yoni, who's the founder who started the whole thing. And it's very interesting to get his insights into the world of podcasting. I learned a lot about what makes a great podcaster, what types of podcasts that Podcast Notes does. And it's really interesting. Interview and in this interview I was actually asking Yoni his advice about what I should do with the podcasts and particularly I've started a new newsletter on Substack and what I should write about for my newsletter on Substack.
