Welcome to the Crazy Wisdom Podcast. My guest today is Deborah Cimpier. She is the co founder and CEO of Althea Network and Gravity Bridge. So welcome to the show.
So the Althea Network is actually a system of interoperable microtransactions and a platform for agile routing. So what that empowers is machine to machine microtransactional payments and essentially sort of fix a lot of the problems. The way we look at connectivity now, right now connectivity is siloed between different monopolistic telcos that build like one fiber optic cable to your home or you know, one radio. And there really is no interoperability and payments are full of friction, right? You know, you send out an invoice, net 30 or many people can't access connectivity because there's no real way to kind of do that on a day by day or even minute by minute basis. So. So Althea kind of shifts the balance of power from these sort of monopolistic telcos to users with a price aware routing protocol that puts you in the driver's seat, allows that your choice of cost and latency, and creates an open marketplace like we see at the core of the Internet, all the way down to the end user device.
