About this episode
I've been staying at Indie Studio in Medellin, Colombia and I interviewed the owner. Indie Studio is a coliving space.
Coliving, as a trend, probably started in San Francisco in the 1960's with the hippie communes and then had a resurgence in SF in the 2010's. As a business, coliving didn't quite work out in SF because of the high economic costs but in other parts of the world its clearly a viable option, particularly now that digital nomads roam the globe.
Here we talk about the latest in Coliving in Latin America.

Episode transcript
Welcome to the Crazy Wisdom podcast. Today I have a special interview with Camilo Olarte. Camilo is the founder of Indie Studios and the reason I found out about Indie Studios is I was looking for a place to live in Medellin that was simple and easy and had everything that I needed, including good Internet so I could upload these episodes and do the interviews. And Indie Studios is exactly that. If you are in Medellin, I highly recommend checking it out and staying there. It's a reasonable price for very good Internet and good people, and it's just they've got a good thing going there. I have actually now moved up into the mountains above Medellin because the Medellin has a lot of pollution and I wanted to be closer to nature in preparation for some meditation retreats that I'm going to be doing in February. So I just wanted to get settled into nature before doing those things. And I hope you enjoy this episode. If you do, please find us on itunes, Spotify, Stitcher, any of the other podcasting platforms and go ahead and subscribe. Releasing episodes every day, Monday through Friday. I've probably got another 30 or 40 that I can release and I'll be doing that for the rest of the month of January. And then on February I'll probably go back to a Monday Friday release schedule as I do these meditation retreats and publish them ahead of time. Hope you enjoy this episode. Please find me on Twitter ewartalsop III. My DMs are open, you can send me a message. I'd love to hear what you're getting out of this episode or any of the other episodes. So have a great day and hope you enjoy this episode.
