There are a number of of elements, different spices in the overall recipe. But I think the main one is this concept of cyclical time that I stumbled onto about two years ago. I was very interested in the just mainly the 2500 year ish period between Socrates and now. And kind of one of one of the initial frameworks for looking at the progression of in the 2500 year window was the idea of or well the framework of modernism, modernism and postmodernism as attitudes toward truth. And those three slices of this large window having what I think to be really strong ability to explain how different epoch were shaped philosophy or I guess these minor movements in the large epoch. And. I came across this book called the Fourth Turning and I had been doing a lot of research before that and when I found presents these time and there were. It was very interesting. I still find it very, very interesting to this day. But in reading it and really being blown away by it and the kind of predictive power that I saw it having, I also saw some holes in it for things that it couldn't really explain. And so I was really thinking about it for a few months and I realized that the writers Neil Howe and William Strauss were even though they were talking about cyclical time with the fourth Turning, they were still treating it as linear time. So it would kind of have this line moving in one direction and it's straight and but it has being sections of or. And when I was looking at that I well what if those. And this was A big circle. And in that idea, we ended up, my wife and I, designing a kind of map that had a lot of the seasonal historical information from that book in it. And when we put it all in a spiral, we saw all of these patterns emerge. We could take point on the map and we could make predictions about what would happen on the other or even in parallel parts of the map. And there are a lot of things that you can find in it. And I found a number of rules. And so that's been what my broadcast, which is Leaning Podcast, has been about on YouTube is. It's, you know, it's part history, it's part religion, it's a little bit of philosophy and anthropology, but it's mainly all under the umbrella of exploring cyclical time.
