Like when people are in agreement of how the past went and what was said and was not said. I don't think this technology matters or makes any difference, but if there is a disagreement, like you this story was like questioning whether or not having the absolute truth makes a difference or makes the conflict better. Helps resolve the conflict when in fact, like you should just talk it out. Try to understand each other. Try to understand what's going on instead of pulling up evidence around like this is the hard fact.

Welcome to the Crazy Wisdom Podcast. Today I have a special guest and a special interview as part of a series I'm doing called the Crazy Wisdom Book Club. Today I interviewed Laura Behrenz Wu, the CEO and co founder of Shippo, an interesting company that's helping e commerce platforms do their shipping. And we talked about a book called Exhalation by Ted Chiang. It's a science fiction novel about the role that technology is playing in our lives and the continued influence it's having. It's a little bit like Black Mirror, but a little bit less dystopian, a little bit more nuanced. Shows both the positive sides and the negative sides. If you haven't read this book, I highly recommend. Definitely gives me some insights that I haven't had before into technology and what might potentially come out of it. Fiction is a really interesting vehicle for us to understand what's happening in our lives and what might happen in the future, particularly science fiction. You know, there's that trite, the trope that most of what has happened in Technolog was predicted by science fiction authors. And so I'd put this book up there with the, with, with the greatest. Maybe not as good as Philip K. Dick, but pretty good. And Laura has some really interesting insights.
