First of all, I would never. There's no point, no other time in human history than I would rather live than today. We are living in an age of miracles. It's like, it's insane, right? It's like you get on a. You get on a flight and we are super annoyed because it's delayed 15 minutes, right? And you're actually sitting in this like, like just miracles engineering.
Hi, my name is Stuart Alsop, and this is my podcast, Crazy Wisdom, where I interview creative people about how they work with and manage the stress that is inherent in creative work. What I've realized over the past 10 years of my research is that anybody who is creating something of value that is significantly different from what has come before is considered crazy. Most of us have a fear, an ingrained fear of going crazy. So what I'm saying is grab onto that fear, realize that it's there, and just go with it. Because the problems we're going to be facing over the next 20 years require crazy people in order to solve them.
So welcome to the Crazy Wisdom podcast. My guest here is Elliot Pepper. He writes fast paced, deeply researched novels about science fiction, including Borderless Bandwidth Cumulus, and he's also an advisor for tech companies to kind of help them figure out what's going to happen in the future. So welcome to the show, Elliot.
Yeah. And so let's get right into it. You tweeted, you said that the main question that keeps you up at night is the what does it mean to live a good life in an age of acceleration? Do you have an answer for that?
