In this popularization of startups and technology that's happened over the last like 10 years, a lot of people are becoming entrepreneurs because it is the thing that, you know, it's trendy or. But then the thing about entrepreneurship is starting a company.
Sometimes I'm like, why the fuck did I start a company? It's so stressful. There's so much ups and downs. Like the highs are very high, but the lows are very, very low. Yeah. And it's. And how do you kind of manage those low points in your life or in the starting.
Starting something. It's a good question. I mean, the way that I just. To go back to your point about, like, the highs are high and the lows are low, the way that I think about it is more of like a. Almost like a converging sine wave where at the very beginning you have enormous volatility. And then as time goes on, it start, the volatility gets kind of less and less. And hopefully that line is not only sort of, you know, whipsawing back and forth, but also going up right in the. In the direction towards. Towards success or achievement or however you define sort of the end goal. But having that kind of mental model in my mind has been a huge help in terms of just thinking like, okay, man, today really sucked, but tomorrow is going to be better. And then there's always yesterday when you can look back and say, man, we had some big wins yesterday. And just because we had a loss today doesn't mean that that's kind of the end state.
